Unvaccinated

Regular testing No. Employees who are symptomatic and/or believe they may have contracted COVID-19 should contact their primary physician for testing. Yes. All regularly scheduled employees with an approved exemption are required to participate in weekly observed testing. All other unvaccinated employees must test negative within 48 hours before each day that they report to work.
Reporting a positive result Contact Human Resources. You also must inform your supervisor that you will be out sick. You cannot return to work until you have been cleared by your primary physician, which must be at least 10 days after you last exhibited symptoms or, if not symptomatic, 10 days after the positive result. Any testing needed to return to work can be coordinated through your primary physician. Contact your health care provider to confirm your positive result with a PCR test. If necessary, Bailey Health Center can provide a script for a PCR test. Contact Human Resources after receiving a positive test. Quarantining if you are identified as a close contact with a person testing positive for COVID-19 No, but a test is required 3-5 days after exposure. If you have been identified as a close contact, you can pick up a test kit at Feather House. You must wear a mask until test results come back negative. You should still report to work. Yes, for 7 days (assuming a negative test is performed between day 5 and 7). You can use your provided at-home test on day 5. 
Isolation Yes, if you test positive for COVID-19. Yes, if you test positive for COVID-19.
Masking indoors Expected except when alone in a room with the door closed. Expected at all times.
Masking outdoors
Expected under the following conditions: when you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 and have not yet received a negative COVID-19 test; if you have been identified as a close contact to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19; and when you are in a crowded outdoor setting where physical distance cannot be achieved. Visitors to campus
In general, visitors should be discouraged from spending time in any building, particularly residence halls. Effective Sept. 28, visitors must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a recent (within 72 hours) negative test for admission to select alumni and family functions as well as indoor ticketed events including athletic competitions and Williams Center performances (excluding classroom activities). Children ineligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are permitted to attend events and are expected to be masked at all times. Additional details.
