The first two days of screening have seen nearly 1,100 students, faculty, and staff receive tests in Pfenning Alumni Center. The testing team from LVHN is grateful for your patience and cooperation as weekly testing routines are established. Everyone has observed physical distancing protocols at the testing site and gracefully walked through the process. Our goals are to stay on schedule and minimize waiting. Appointment blocks are 30 minutes and you may arrive anytime in that period.

A few important reminders:

Scheduling
Over 1,200 requests have been received through the appointment request form, and in total nearly 2,400 members of the Lafayette community have a confirmed weekly COVID-19 testing appointment. All requests received as of 2 p.m. Tuesday have been processed, and email confirmations should have been received. If you have not received confirmation, we may not have your correct email; please let us know by contacting COVID-Test-Scheduling@lvhn.org or call Katie Nederostek at 610-861-8080 ext. 36081.

Emailed questions and requests will be returned within the same business day (or the next day for those received after 5 p.m.). If you call Katie and she does not immediately answer, please leave a voicemail, and your message will be returned within three hours (or by 10 a.m. the following day if received after 5 p.m.).

We continue to work through questions and special requests. We appreciate your patience as we have processed a large number of requests in just a few days. There are just over 200 students who have not requested a weekly appointment time. If you do not have a time scheduled, use the form.

Rescheduling
Once you have set a workable weekly time, it is very important to keep it. Lab orders are prepared in advance to avoid lines. The number of people tested per half hour is capped to allow for physical distancing and minimize time spent at the test center.

If you need to reschedule for the same day, you can simply try to get tested by visiting the testing site at Pfenning that day. If you miss your appointment, call Katie Nederostek or email COVID-Test-Scheduling@lvhn.org to reschedule within the same week.

Within 48 hours of your appointment, you can fill out a request to reschedule. You will receive confirmation of your new appointment time within one business day. Please refrain from repeat rescheduling as much as possible.

Trouble accessing results
If you cannot access your results through MyLVHN or MyHNL, let us know by emailing COVID-Test-Scheduling@lvhn.org or call Beth Lutz at 610-861-8080 ext. 36018. If she doesn’t answer, please leave a voicemail as she may be assisting someone else. She will return your call the same business day (or by 10 a.m. the following day if received after 5 p.m.).

Thank you,
