Thanks to those students who have followed safety protocols to keep our COVID-19 case count low. As the fall semester winds down, there are a few reminders for those registered as learning from campus, whether living on campus or in the community:

  • COVID-19 testing — As part of our planning to help ensure a safe departure from campus and arrival home, COVID-19 testing is available at no charge Nov. 16 and 17 by making an appointment through the health center. Scheduling instructions will be sent from Residence Life.
  • Access to campus (for those in College housing and the McCartney Residences) — Classes end Nov. 20. Students are expected to depart by Nov. 22, the last day of fall semester housing and meal plan. The only exceptions beyond Nov. 22 will be students approved via MyHousing for fall extended stay (through Dec. 6).
  • Access to campus (for those in private, off-campus housing) — Students may, according to the terms of individual leases with landlords, access private, off-campus housing. To prevent the spread of travel-related COVID-19 cases, students will not have access to any College facilities if traveling between Nov. 20 and the end of finals.

Residence Life will send reminders and details in the coming days. Please follow directions to ensure we know your plans.

I wish you the best as you complete the fall semester, safe travels as you depart campus, and look forward to seeing everyone back in the spring.

Sincerely,

Annette Diorio
Vice President for Campus Life
