The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) has updated guidance regarding traveling out of state, replacing the list of recommended quarantine states with required testing within 72 hours prior to arriving in Pennsylvania or mandatory 14-day quarantine. There is an exemption within the guidance that allows for travel between home and work or home and medical appointments in other states.
New guidance from the Department of Education for institutions of higher education for testing, isolation, and quarantine will become effective for Lafayette with the start of the spring semester.
The DOH also is strongly recommending the COVID Alert mobile app, which notifies users if they’ve been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
